The Story
Across the galaxy, an evil, tyrannical king has enslaved citizens from countless planets using them as soldiers in his quest for domination. When one young refugee is displaced from his family, Punk Taco and his band of misfits befriend him and vow to reunite their new friend with his loved ones. With a mysterious alien race, they join forces to battle the mad king and spread peace, love and unity across the cosmos. Action, adventure and humor abound in this tale of kindness and understanding conceived and written by Adam Wallenta and his six-year-old son, Makana.

“This Taco goes Hard (shell)! Here’s an Intergalactic Space adventure that feels foreign and familiar simultaneously. Punk Taco walks that same hero path I grew up admiring in my youth. He seems to be someone who’s trying to do the best he can spreading love and keeping away from trouble, but that trouble seems to somehow find him. Don’t start none, won’t be none. He’s a hero that if challenged or threatened, someone might not like the consequences. Reminds me of my all time favorite anime that I watched as a kid about the positive minded, race car driving teenager behind the wheel of the Mach 5! With some incredibly beautiful colors, very unique character designs (french fry mohawk!), and an unpredictably building storyline, Punk Taco is an all ages Sci-fi comedy adventure that has a little something for everyone. There’s definitely some messages for the youngsters, and a few themes that some adults will easily recognize. Is it strange that I actually learned something from a guitar playing Taco?”

The Heros
Punk Taco
The charismatic leader. A sentient alien taco, who sings and plays guitar, rocking out and spreading peace and love throughout the galaxy, Punk Taco is truly one of a kind. Fun loving and adventurous, Punk Taco is always willing to help those in need. He is a compassionate, empathetic soul that always stands with the downtrodden and despises bullies and tyrants. We won’t even get into his intergalactic-famous nachos…
Dahlila
The master planner. Dahlila is the keyboardist and manager of the band. Like Punk Taco, she loves to help people and has a heart of gold but is also a bit suspicious of anyone taking advantage of Punk Taco’s kindness. Sometimes she has to play “bad cop” to keep everyone focused on their job- making music and performing to sold out crowds. Thanks to her, the band has had numerous hit records all over the galaxy, that help fund their crazy adventures, and allow them to provide assistance to those in need.
Bovo
The reluctant adventurer. Bovo is the bassist of the band and also works hard to make sure everyone eats healthy, nutritious meals while out touring the galaxy performing. Bovo is quiet and reserved, some may even say shy or timid, but when he’s on stage rocking out you would never know it. He may kick and fuss as his friends drag him into another crazy adventure but no matter what he is always a reliable friend that will stand by their side.
Bash
The musical warrior. Bash comes from a race of warriors that are legendary for protecting the peaceful monks of Traboora from the horsed of Nasardak. However Bash is unusually small for his species and was not allowed to join the ranks of his people. Luckily for him he discovered his incredible talent for playing the drums and teaming up with Punk Taco, he gets to show off his inherit warrior nature plenty on their many adventures helping those in need.
